The Process
Historically committed to promoting health among its workforce, Saint Francis recognized the need to modernize its wellness initiatives, particularly in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Their existing year-to-year wellness program had achieved high participation but struggled to deliver meaningful, long-term health outcomes.
Saint Francis completely overhauled their existing program and leaned on Wellvation’s ManageWell platform to adapt to its unique needs and accommodate the new month-to-month format. The evolved program structure included three levels of participation:
- Level 1: Access high-quality health information and Mayo Clinic resources through the ManageWell platform. Participants who sign up receive a $5 monthly discount on health insurance.
- Level 2: Visit a healthcare provider annually or biennially. Participants receive a $5 monthly discount for completing a physical exam.
- Level 3: Complete a monthly health-focused checklist broken into two categories: chronic care and preventative health. Participants can earn up to a 20% health insurance discount.
